A thousand nuts – on their way to Rabbalshede Kraft!
We are happy to announce that an order of 1 152 pcs of TensionCam M36 nuts are soon to be shipped to our partners, the Swedish wind park, Rabbalshede Kraft. A big order, that will make a big difference.
Once delivered, the nuts will be installed on the blade bolts joints of six existing elder wind turbines. This will enable measurement of clamp load on all blade bolt joints, ensuring optimal monitoring and control. In turn, this significantly strengthens Rabbalshede Kraft’s ability to pursue extended lifetime certification for their turbines.
Leaving nothing to chance
Each nut is fitted with an NFC tag, giving each nut a unique ID number. “This means that all clamp load measurements can be individually tracked throughout the life span”, says Gustav Wahlberg, Product & Application Engineer at TensionCam Systems AB.
Monitoring of the bolt clamp load is critical
The TensionCam technology and nuts will reduce maintenance costs and improve the lifespan of Rabbalshede Kraft’s wind turbines, contributing to the renewable energy industry’s drive for more efficient and sustainable solutions.
“This first shipment of a larger volume TensionCam nuts is an important effect of our intensive industrialization efforts of the TensionCam concept”, says Jonas Nilsagård, CEO of TensionCam Systems AB. “More will come”, he adds.
